I just missed a nice looking 70E on my local CL. Held off on going to check it out because it was about 3 hours away. Seeing Chris's saws made me rethink it........but the listing has been deleted by the seller...
where did you find that 81 at? Those don't show up very often.
Real nice looking low hr saws for the age of them....hardly any paint worn from the usual places.....Nice!!
Sad to say, they were all Ebay buys. But not I'm not too sad.
The 621 does show some age, but you are right about the other 2.
I've wanted an 81 ever that short time member showed up here awhile back with his find and Cliff ended up with it. Just a great looking and running saw. Not too flashy, not even that loud, just solid.

Trying to find a part # for crank seals. Haven't found an IPL for it. Will seals for a 70e work?

threw some fresh mix in this and it fired right up. a little stinky at first, was going to stick in some wood real quick and decided not too.:msp_unsure: anyone want to guess why? and i wonder if it's the same thing it went to the saw shop in the first place.:msp_wink:
Yes original part # 504 14 62 00 fits the 49, 52/52E, 601, 62, 621, 66E/70E, 751 80, 81, 801, 90 and perhaps others.
If you go aftermarket you need a 15MM X 30MM X 7MM and make sure you get a double lip seal...

Just found some info that shows the 80e crank seals as # 4146200. Out dated number perhaps? Wait. If I add a 50 to the beginning its the same part #. Wonder what's up?

Last night my gf and I stopped in at our local bar and we ran into some friends of ours. They have owned a logging business for yrs with his kids and father. I struck up a conversation with him about saws and he said he has a whole corner of his shed stacked with burnt up saws and jonsereds being there saws of choice. I was wondering which saws to look for and which ones to stay away from. Also throwing out there if anyone is looking for parts that they may have or saws pm me and let me know. Ty in advance for any help
