A friend who knows even less than me about outdoor equipment brought me his Jonsered cs2145. He winters in FL and said he drained all the gas out last fall, and mixed a fresh batch today, and it would not start. I tried without any fire at all. Checked for spark, then squirted a bit of starting fluid in. Still nada. And yes, I know starting fluid is a no no, but i don't think Ive ever seen a situation where a small squirt would not get you at least a bit if ignition. BTW, I don't think he even knows it has an air filter. Packed with dust. BTW, do any Husky parts fit Jonsered? Thanks, Larry

Update. I just wet out to take another crack at it and discovered that the decomp valve was open. Pulled it out and it fired right up. With my backup, used but clean, air filter. Might a bit of PB Blaster around the valve help?
