Hello, I've got a Jonsered 670 parts saw I'm going to rebuild. Can any one tell me the best brand paint and color to paint the metal parts. I called my local husky dealer and he told me he did'nt know of any factory offered Jonsered matching paint. Just wandering what someone else has found to be the best brand and color match. Thanks guys. Rick!!!!!!!!!!!

Rick;

I'm not sure that Jonsered actually offers any paint, but I'll take a look tomorrow.

Best alternative would be to find a Western snowplow dealer. The Western red is right on with the Jonsered red.

I know the husky paint was discontinued about two years ago....hope you have better luck with the red husky's.....

thank you for the information. I just checked with my local western snow plow dealer and guess what. they have decided to stop there western snow plow service and are selling off there stock. wont make any more orders. the next closest dealer is 70 miles away. I have never heard of ford red. I will check into it tomorrow and see what i come up with. thanks again Rick:chainsaw:

Want to know my secret for Husky Orange ?
Come closer, Closer....... Ka Pow..... LOL.

Na, Just Kidding.
Go to your local Kubota Dealer and get the Acrylic Enamel, Bright Orange II
70000-73712 I buy it by the Quart, But it does come in a spray bomb can.
Just make sure it says Bright Orange. Kubota sells two different tones. ;)

I know for sure that George Blake (username "motorsag") has restored lots of old Jreds to like new condition - I suggest you ask him.
