Hey guys! Heard a lot of good things about a Jonsered saw! Can anyone back this up? Heard they are cheaper and pack more power than the all know Stihl! What do you guys think?

Thanks

Jonsered

Jonsereds are very much like certain models of Husqvarna. You will need to go to the 2149 (50cc about $375 dollars) or up to get a pro model. The 83cc and 95cc models are the only true Jonsereds left. The 2149, 2159, 2163, 2165 and 2171 are Husky sister saws, and there is nothing wrong with that.
The 2150, 2145 and 2141s are "semi-pro" models, pretty fair saws.
The 2040 and 2036s are made at the Poulan factory in the U.S. They are lighter duty saws.

well well well....lol...I did just read this...What kind of crack are you smoking Confused??? lmao...(now I know where you get your name)

The Husky is a sister to my beloved red and black little kids, yes....(hmm that doesnt sound right..I believe I am setting myself up for something here...)..anyway....and as Snydert said...the 2077 (they say 2083 but its a 2077 head and piston due to epa) and th 2095 are the only saws left that Husky doesnt parallel..they are a better buy and way better looking....in fact...saying that gives me an idea...Eric(woodsjunkie) woke me up this morning..so my head isnt on straight....but whomever is interested in a Jonny...give me a call or email me...I wll put them on sale this week...till the 10th..shipping date the 15th unless you want them "built".

So Dennis is selling out a few red saws?
Dang, I just bought one of the cheap orange ones...I could have waited and got a real chain saw.

Dennis, did I tell you there's a new small engine shop setting up on my way home from work? I asked about trading that 395, brand new, never been used at all, on a 2095. Offered me $500 US against a new one, based on a look in his trade-in value guide.

I asked my wife if I can buy another new chain saw. It looks like we'll be taking a romatic get-away weekend real soon, or I'll be in the doghouse, big-time:D

Na guys i was just joking i would buy a Jonsy in a second if i could justify it to the boss (g/f). I just wanted to see who would pipe up and scream. So in closing i apologize if i have offended anyone, Jonsy's are great and i would recommend one to anyone thinking about a saw.

:D

In fact i would probably call Dennis about one if i was lookin
