whell all of you jonsered nuts out there. i picked up a jonsered 49SP i was wondering what was the displacement and power rating. i got a great deal on it today at a pawn shop and it starts and run great.

According to my owners manual, displacement is 3 cubic inches or 49cc. 44mm bore x 32mm stroke 9:1 comp ratio. Hp figure is not given. I have two of these and think they're great little saws, neat features adjustable oiling and a little hole in the recoil housing to lube the rewind spring. What did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

Uh oh, you're selling us out! :)

I'd also like to know how, if you're in the mood to gloat.

That sure is a gloat. What condition is it in?

I need to start hitting the pawn shops around here.

it is in great condition i pulled to muffler today and looked in the cylinder and it is spottless. all of the pain cept on the bottow where is sits is there. all i have to do is put a new pull cord on it cause the one that is on it now is a little on the short side. all of the decals are still on it and over all it is in great condition.

On the 49sp there is also a hole in the end of the crank (clutch side) that will let you grease the clutch bearing with a grease gun like the one for the sprocket tips. If this grease fitting hasn't been used in a long time you'll have to pull the clutch off once to clean it out. Should you ever decide to part with it let me know. Owning my first 49sp is what led me down the road to chainsaw addiction.

Here are three Jonnys for you, and I will part with any saw I own! Two are the 49SP and one is a 521E but same family. You can own this family for a 50 dollar bill each plus shipping. I will sell all three together because they are such a nice set. Mike
