They didnt say an amount, just offered to refund money or return the saw for a different one. I'll likely convert it to a 2172 at some point. It will be replacing my Husky 460.

Received my first Order of 2166’s and they arrived perfect. I will be reselling some of them as soon as I get them modded to be 2172’s. I will sell the first few for $550 plus shipping or we can meet if near Ohio.

I like the newer handles.
How much for non converted ones.
Will you be adding the larger dogs that come on the 2172 vs the single smaller inner dogs. I like the larger dogs for 24 or 28" bars, but prefer the small one for a 20" so I can get as much out of it as possible.
How many did you get/will you have available at that price.

I have one that's converted I would sell too, it's been used a little, but it's in great condition.
They are good running saws, more forgiving in the cut than an early 2171/372 once the transfers are ground and the carbs readjusted, and stock they have more power than the early open port 365's or the later closed port versions(mostly the 365 specials, but there were some non specials with closed ports also).

So my 4 have an "R" melted in the bottom of them. 1 has a small scuff of the wrap, others look 100% perfect and new upon quick initial inspection. I will do a more thorough inspection later today.

My replacement showed up today. Excellent condition, its a 13' model. It has the R on the bottom, gas tank does NOT smell like fuel. No wood chips, a little dust, a tad rust on the inside bar cover. Runs like a top.
