Just bought a Dolmar 421

Just bought a Dolmar 421. Any mods I should take on immediately or run it as it until the warranty expires?

i bought a ps-510 in december and the ps-32 in january and was debating on doing the same thing.... and the suggestions i got was to wait until after the warranty expires. In my opinion waiting is the way to go in case something breaks then they should fix it, cause when u start messing around with it they will tell u the repairs are on u

Go to the chainsaw forum. You can buy new saws from one of the builders already modded ie no warranty from the get go.

Remove catalytic converter from muffler, open up exhaust port and retune. Some like to convert to a rim sprocket. Good luck.
