well here i am. worked 10 hours today clearing a nearly half mile long fencerow. that 066 gets heavy towards evening. got a couple nice big fat red oaks, though. for some crazy reason when i got home i just had to fire up my big muckaluck, just to hear it roar. how far can your biggest saw throw chips? i found chips off this at 19 feet out. try and beat it. no cutting downwind...............

well all the neighbors are taking aim at me, so..........................

Tim
Good pictures, you get up early Tim, does your 066 have head lights?I live across the pond and it don't get light here till after 7:00 . Seth

Wow, that's a pretty saw. One of the SP125s you got off eBay for $2.99? :) I have a mint 250 I'll have to fix up when the weather gets above freezing. Funny that they sold mine right from the factory with a 16" bar.

On a side note, anyone know why my 111S won't toss chips, at all? Almost nothing coming off the top of the bar and just a weak (but lots of chips) dribble out of the bottom. Must the clutch cover design.

-idiot mode on-

I really need to look more closely at photos.

Still, the Jonsey doesn't toss as much as my other, smaller saws.

Sheesh, John, I thought you'd know the answer- the 111S scares the chips so bad they faint dead away right on the spot. :D

nelsonfrye, yes, i did start early today, not by choice though. we had to change 2 tires on the stieger, one of the boys ran over a chunk of steel and cut 'em both, so by the time we got that done it was light enough to start cutting. we use the tractor to skid logs and pull stumps when the ground aint froze.

hey john,
heres my super 250. this one was made in canada. the story is supposedly it was found in an abandoned homestead in the attic. can't verify it, but it is in nice shape.

oakman , I envy you and am glad for you to find such a saw . Are you a Mc Culloch man ? I have a D44 and can't find specs on it in my Chainsaw manual . A friend brought it over ..varnished . Jon

yea, i like macs. but i like any saw that over 80cc's, loud, and throws massive amounts of chips. go to mike acres site for all the poop on the d44.

Lets Rock!

Hey fix up that 44 and meet next spring. I plan on heading over to some festivitie Scott Mueller has planned that they throw every year. It is over there on your side of the lake. I am having my S44 tweaked right now by a local guy here. Scott has his being um. masssaged by his brother or something and it sounds scary if it works out. I guess a lot of old saws show up and show off and race and such. I want to enter the heaviest working saw category with my M47. Cheers, JB
