In lue of all that has happened lately, she would be more than happy to have this happen, she might even stay and w'd just send Bubba to one of the grandparents for the night. I know my dad and mom will want to see some, if not all of this, so it might be her mom, but she will not put up a fight over this, she is just as mad as I am!!! Need CarvinMark to show up and do me a "sculpture" during the GTG!!!

I might be able to slip down that way, you're around Wichita somewhere, right? My loudest saws are my little Explorers, though, so they're sort of unimpressive. My 955 isn't exactly quiet, however.

I could bring my buzz saw and take the muffler off the engine-that'd be plenty loud...

As much as I want to help you out, I have to wonder if there would be any trouble with a little thing like, um, noise ordinance? Have you done this before?

There is no noise ordinace, they can ASK you to turn down a radio, and as long as you don't get beligerant, not much they can do! What gets you if you are hotheaded or intoxicated, they ge you for disorderly conduct, or at least threaten you with that. Chainsaws, mills bandsaws etc. fall under lawn and garden equipment, which is usabel until dark.
I figure this will fall under "Arborist training seminar". I't a weekend, it's daylight, when is a better time to hold it LOL!!!

You should have a muffler mod seminar for all the stock saw guys!!! Then even the quite saws would be load!!

Im up just north of Salina, and Im in. Im kind of a newbie here, and I just have 2 stocker stihls, but my heart is in the game. I'll even offer a saw for a guinea pig for a muffler mod.
