I'm thinking of the typical mesh type potato sack to stuff with splitter scraps/kindling as an add-on sales opportunity. Do any of you offer this for sale? Curious what type of bag, what size, style, you sell kindling in. How much do you sell a bag for?

I would like to find a vendor that sells these bags in bulk...maybe even add the company logo to... Just thinking out loud. Anything we can do to increase our average price per cord is a good thing!

I have done some on-line searches but haven't found anything that I'm thinking of. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

I don't know about anyone else but if someone buys 5 or more of my bundles of firewood I throw in a plastic grocery sack of splitter scraps to help start their first fire. Don't know if there would be all that big of a market for kindling.

We buy ours from Amazon. Farber bags, we get the 22"x24" ones. $69 for 100 of them. We give them away to customers free with each delivery we do. People get a warm fuzzy feeling when they get something for free without having to ask for it. Just something else to try to give us an advantage over the competition.

I get 1 cu ft (15 x 26) and 2 cuft mesh bags (21 x 30) from Vietnam at about 24 cents a piece...nice tight weave and last longer in the sun than most I bought from the states
