I gave these rounds to a friend of mine. He came by and loaded it into his dump bed. I had collected them over the past couple weeks. I only give away oak to friends when I have no room for it, that is to say when My wife is getting disturbed about how much wood I collect. I think she's worried about me.
Anyway, I had to make room for this trunk.
it's 3 feet wide. Cut it with my 362, 20" bar and a chain I've ben messing with. Took the rakers down a little too far just to see how it would cut. Fast but NOT smooth.
SO I threw it in the place where the rounds were at previously. And I'm back to where I started.
Now I have to bring home a 44' wide oak trunk that is about 14 feet long and I told the neighbor down the road I would pick up the oak she had cut down. Then I think I'll take a break for a while.
