Going to finish sawing the Ash that I've been working for some years now this weekend. Weather will be 60° and Sun. 133 years old it was. Ends an era of time well spent with friends and family. My FIL remembered this tree being big when he was a boy for he grew up in the shade of it. He passed away 3 years ago at 76. Will have obtained 26 slabs all in all. Been not only a pleasure sharing this with you guys and enjoying the process but the experience has been more than exhilarating for not only myself but my 3 young sons too. BF Log it was. Moving forward onto a 45" Poplar. Keep your mind sharp above all and the tools and chains will follow suit.
