Leaf machine

Does anyone know anything about the Little Wonder 8160 leaf machine. I have someone wanting to trade me the machine set up for a dump trailer like I have. The setup includes a set of bows and a custom tarp for my trailer. Machine is basically new only had a couple tanks of gas run through it. He wants to trade me this and a 1 year old Stihl 088 with 36inch bar and chain. for my 665A grinder. Is leaf removal worth getting into. I've never done it with a setup like this. Any info would be helpful . Thanks Scott

Do you do landscape maintenance or tree work? I don't think you will recover your investment that quickly if you are just loading leaves and hauling them. Commercial sites most likely have a contract with their lawn jockey and residential customers don't seem to have deep pockets when it comes to getting the leaves off the street, especially if they just payed the landscaper $400 to get them to the street.
Leaf removal is is a job that is really hard to get consistent annual customers without maintenance contracts. I always sold it as an add on to my maintenance contracts. In this case it was necessary to have a loader, the removal and dumping fee was built in to the total package.

Also, it's kinda late in the season to get going with leaf cleanup. That leaf vac won't make any money until next year but the stump grinder can work any day of the week.
