I have yet to figure out what happens, but ALWAYS in the milkcrate that I trow gloves into it is inevitable that out of 9 individual gloves that I pull out they will all be left hand only, where do the right gloves go? I go to the brush truck and pull out loads of left hand gloves, once in awhile there will be a match, but usually not, This weirdness usually appears when I need a pair of gloves that instant. Is it just me? Maybe I'm not living right.

you are not alone............i too find the same thing.........

our gloves simply disapear ..the left and the right ..ones .i bought a batch in the winter roughly 20 pairs all gone..ive got a bag of lefties somewhere: confused:

I've been suspicous of that myself, but I thought it was just my imagination. I just went and counted my gloves... 13 left, 17 right.

A-HA!!!:blob2:

left glove

The right ones wear out quicker and get thrown away.

gloves

you are doing well to find left gloves...i sometimes struggle to find any....when i do they are either soaking with a mixture of oils or have been wet and baked dry on the floor of a vehicle and have to be chiseled off the floor and snapped to make them pliable

its the same with socks....i can only ever find odd socks.....

a good tip for gloves that have been left to dry out all crumpled up is to straighten them out and sit on them while traveling to job.get to job remove ar$e from seat and hey presto nice supple gloves;)

I'm not alone.....good. My right hand gloves have been running away for over a year now. I too have a crate in the garage with 8 lefties, and they are in good enough shape to keep. I think they hit those little black holes like the ones that get the nuts and screws that roll off the work bench and just vanish.

I use Wondergloves --they are the Shizit. blue latex palm and fingers nice snug fit. I've been hooked for about 2 years now, and my hands look pretty good because of it. At a little over $1 per pair you can't go wrong with these gloves.

This is why I like the yellow poly knit gloves for climbing. They will fit on either hand, so it does not matter which one you grab. Unless one side's worn out from running a rope in the tree, or fast rappel ...

Well, that adds a bit of joy to my life, glad I'm not the only one who suffers from this malady.

Missery loves company.

I rarely wear gloves, but I am gonna try the wonder gloves.

Yes that is the truth. I always wear gloves, something I figureed out rock climbing fresh soft skin has more friction, sensitivity, and heals nicer than hard, cracked, callous.

And your lady tends to appreciate soft hands............;) Right gloves do tend to get worn out faster for righthanders. one thing that has really cut down on wearing out right gloves first is inspecting before purchase. I only buy gloves with good leather on the right. I noticed that in the bulk purchases of gloves many have lousy hide on one glove-usually the right! I quit bulk purchasing leather gloves and hit the hardware store promotions and spend a minute or 2 selecting several good pairs at a time. -And I love the Wondergloves for climbing-Where do you guys get them for a buck a pair? They are almost $3 per pair around here. I have noticed that when the Latex starts peeling the shreds can really do funny things inside the friction hitch.;)

Hi Wiley, it's sorta like socks in the dryer, there is always one missing. They are simply whipped into another dimension.
That's what's good about the ones that go on both hands.
The leather cyclist gloves with the braided tops look real cool though with the velco straps undone and you feel like Mario Andretti. LOL

I've used the $1.00 thin gloves, they'll OK. But I like the Blue Atlas better, or gray for winter. The above site has the cheapos for under $1.00 pr, and what looks like the Atlas for a bit over $2.00....I get the blue Atlas for a good price, about 2.65, these look cheaper...

Ha, I've had this baffling problem for nigh on to 30 years now....where did all the right handed gloves go.. get to be more hole than glove and go invisible maybe???

Rb, Your linkie no workie. Err..... Sorry Rog, I didn't mean to reveal such personal information about you on the web.:p

I CAN SOLVE THIS PROBLEM

GET MOM ,WIFE,OR GIRLFRIEND TO SEW SOME STRING ON EACH GLOVE AND THREAD EACH GLOVE THROUGH EACH ARM OF YOUR JACKET OR WHATEVER JUST LIKE WHEN YOU WAS A KIDDIE AT SCHOOL,THEN YOU WONT LOOSE A GLOVE:blob2: :D
