The Nati, Oh Hi, Yo
I have mentioned this before but these are great seminars and you can test and get CEU's for them. Len's a great guy too.

Anybody want to talk about current subject matter in these or current archived seminars listed.....

Let's talk

Thje current Trunk Physiology piece is a corrected reprint from Slovenia. The reference list is more current than many articles in the past. The questions have gone from T-F gimmes to mostly "all the above", which is an improvement. The whole enterprise at a glance is not as bad as it used to be, but for folks concerned about the devaluing of certification and CEUs, it's still a problem imo.

The basic premise is and was to give govt workers a chance to get CEUs without leaving their offices, when maybe they should be encouraged to leave their offices, and get out in the world more. no idea how much the sponsorships and ads are making for Len, who last I heard does not pay for content.

Caveat emptor.

Typical response from a CEU whore such as yourself. I remember years ago when these seminars were on TW you making these same comments and then checking and you were the one that spent the most time on the Phillips seminars likely because of the myriad of certifications you got early on.

The test was your biggest complaint and it is a no brainer that if you go to a seminar there is NEVER a test at the completion.

As for your complaint in regards to the aim of the subject matter....that is bologna as well. The subject matter is excellent and contemporary (for pro arborists).

Shame on you....jealousy is an always an ugly motive. People will sometimes still read your Dendro stuff....don't fret.

no there was another reason. ;)

No complaints, but just read the mission statement if you like baloney, or bologna, fried or raw. The contents and the tests have improved. :D

be Nice, Dave

Ok....sorry.:yourock:

I think you have to subscribe, then you got to the topic Seminar....than after you read it it has "take the test" or something like that on the bottom.

There you have the opp to put in your email address in one box and in the other you put in your name and ca #

Then you press submit after taking the 10 question test and you have to get an 80 percent or better to get one half ceu.

There has to be some ulterior motive for anyone putting down Len's seminars. They are excellent, for the most part, and all will teach you something you didn't know before. Len is a good guy and I am fairly certain that he is not in it for the money. I highly recommend his site for those wanting to learn new things and get CEU's in the process.
