Dude

For the past couple of years the Canadians have been paying the best for pine and they will come and get it on lumber truck backhauls. Just be prepared to have the means to load it on their trucks.

Even though that's Canadian that's good coin. What grade is that for???

You must not be paying attention lately canadain coin is now worth more than us coin.Witch is messing up the logging industry on us.As for the grade they pay that is for bush run pine all grades. The log home pine pays 750 a thousand sold few loads of house logs last week thats the stuff you want to cut easy money:cheers:

Actually I did know that bro. Dont' you guys pay like $4CD for gas though??? Things are still more up there than here, pretty much most all living items are higher than they are here hence my statement... No offense bro. I was just saying that since everything is more expensive there even though the CD dollar is worth more than US it doesn't go as far up there... Make sense guy??? Cheers eh?

CDN dollar is the SAME as USD right now!!!! US dollar has fallen fast and hard lately. But yah, last I was in BC, the prices were REALLY steep. Gas, smokes, booze... outragou$. Real estate was out of sight.

Hells yea, I love that country. I've even tried to get a job up there. Nice people, I LOVE THAT BEER, lol... I live like 10 min. from the border. There's good and bad on both sides. If ya'll are making like 750/thous on house logs, that's still good coin. I'm trying to find something CLOSE to that here...

Cheers eh?

Look up Bolick log homes online they are here in Canada but build alot of there houses in the US.I know they were looking for logs a few weeks ago and they buy alot of there house logs from over there.Don't think they will pay 750 probaly more around 500 from them.

Prices here are way down for logs. Execpt on Red Alder and Red Cedar. A lot of mills have stopped accepting/buying fir logs here. Some friends west of Portland are just cutting low taper Doug fir trees for firewood (price is better than lumber logs).

We have the same problem here the white pine market has just pick up to where the mills are starting to buy the logs again. The hardwood is ???? the saw log prices are 50% less then a year ago and veneer isn't very good either. That's why i have gone back to logging for the mills on production that way what you put up you get paid for.
