What is the best product to use for pipe thread connections???? I've heard that locktite 565 is good...

Got it put together today...

Hydraulic tank mounted.... Had to put my stamp on it also. Next will be hydraulic hoses and tail lights. Eventually I want to add an outfeed table.

Put the stamp on the beam in front of the wedge....
Waiting till all the hoses are hooked up and then I will choose the best location for the throttle and choke cables. They are in limbo now. Thanx for looking.

Looking good. Not sure what is the best thread sealant. I just used pipe sealant paste, Blue Monster, I use on plumbing fittings, water and natural gas. Here is a whole thread on pipe sealants....

I'm working on the hydraulic hoses now. Is it acceptable to use suction type hose with clamps for the return line between the filter and the reservoir??? The line from the valve back to the tank is not pressurized, correct ??? Thanx for any help...

I only need about a 10" piece of hose from the filter to the tank....I am wanting to use suction hose. The suction hose has "return line" written on it.

Got the filter and suction hose mounted. Tail lights mounted also. Made a handle to help make it easier to move around, it's a heavy muther...
