I been looking to get a log splitter with a loader on it. i dont wanna sound like a sissy but i load logs enough at work that i dont wanna pick big wood up in my spare time trying to heat my house.

i been using an excavator with a thumb on it but im using alot of machine and fuel to split logs.

is thier any other option other than a 6+ thousand dollar timber wolf. is thier anything more affordable like 2-3 thousand dollars? i dont sell fire wood so it doesnt have to have a 4+ way wedge or anything just pick up some of thies 300 pound oak logs i got and save my back and my advil bottle.

if any you sweet fabricators can make something or weld something on my existing husky 35 ton i would be willing to pay a good peny for it. i cant weld for baked beans and end up feeling like someone threw sand in my eyes after i flash myself like 20 times. i stick to the saws and spurs.

any ideas are welcome i got a skid S250 bobcat but that also seems like alot of machine to run to split logs. alot of wear and tear on a 30 k machine.
