saw this on youtube recently, some of you guys may have seen it also. I thought it was reasonably well done, guy spends a day with a logging crew. 8 parts, 10 minutes each.

Yeah, I have seen that. Well done. If only Ax Men took a page out of this kids book. Unfortunately it may be too boring for mainstream America...

Thanks for posting that. I just finished watching the whole thing and it's sure a lot more accurate depiction of what logging is than that damn AxMen crap.

Somebody posted that it might be boring. That's okay. Boring is good. Boring means nothing bad is happening. I'll take boring any day over aggravation and drama.

I was mildly surprised that it was only a 2 man falling crew, and that they were running bars that size on an 044. I've run up to 36" semi skip on my 044 ith a 7 pin rim but it wasn't exhilarating. I'm guessing their saws were pretty hot though, sure sounded a bit better than mine.
