I'd like to find one in decent shape that is still stock. It's also a bit out of my price range. I'd like to stay between $400 and $450 if possble. I appreciate the offer though!

I'm new to this site and still haven't figured everything out. I posted a message on his profile asking about a 346xp. Is that the best way or do I need to use the "start a conversation" feature?

I can get my hands on a decent condition 346 with good compression that supposedly doesn't run guy said just needs carb rebuild I haven't looked at it yet. Id give it to ya for $350 + shipping

Yes it is, unless it has potential!... and that is only visible to the guy that can see it and hear the history first hand at that price.

I paid less than that for a beat up but good runner 346xp, but to each their own, they will all make a great saw for someone, just some are cheaper than others.

I just passed on 3 of them at a salvage yard for $20 each. Guess I should have gotten them, built up one good one, and sell it for $350 or more. That's just insane. A complete non-running saw is automatically $100 tops. It goes down from there for parts missing.

I bought an outstanding 346xp oe from Nmurph last year. It is not pretty and has a spot on the crankcase chipped off that he repaired with a piece of metal and glue/screws. Neil assured me it would be my new favorite saw and he was 100% right. I have several great saws and I pick that 346 up before any of the others. If I were you, I'd hit him up and if he has one that's got a chipped spot on the crankcase buy it. You get a better price because of it and the saw will run perfectly.

I started a conversation with nmurph but I haven't heard back from him yet
