My Dad picked up a Mac 10-10 Automatic several years ago at an estate sale. He told me yesterday while I was down at his shop that the automatic oiler doesn't work on it. In fact he wasn't even aware that his 10-10 was even equipped with one as he has always used the manual oiler. I would like to fix it for him, but I dont have a IPL for it so I'm not sure what to look for or where to start. Anyone out there know where I can get a IPL or have any experience with these saws? Thanks in advance.

To get to the auto oiler, you need to remove the carb, fuel tank.Under the fuel tank ,you will find 3 bolts holding the oil pump at the bottom of the crankcase. You have to remove also the oil tank cover to get to the pump.Check the round fiber thing(piston) condition and also be sure the small o ring holding it is tight enough to retain the "piston".Remove also the adj bolt at he bottom and blow air tru the 2 holes.
