Mac 310

Hi,
It has been a while since my last post, been busy mowing ext. A fiend dropper off a Mac 310. Will not run.It has good compression and plenty of spark. I squirted some mix into carb and it took right off, then died. I fished out the gas filter and ran carb cleaner through it. Gas line looks good. Anyway, I refilled it with fresh mix choked and still a no go.Squirted mix into carb and ran then died of gas starvation. My question is, does this saw have a impulse line?Where will I be able to get a carb kit for it?The tank is vented. Ken

The impulse comes from a little hole in the carb base,no line per say.Either the fuel line has a crack in it or the carb needs a rebuild.MFG supply can fix you up with a rebuild kit.It could either be a Walbro WA-52 or a Zama??,the number should be on the carb some place.

Also check to make sure the impulse hole is not blocked with crud.
