Hello, 056 kid--Welcome to the world of McCulloch!--Run Hi-Testfuel in your saw--40 to 1 ratio using a brand name 2 stroke oil, i.e. stihl. husquvarna. Easiest way to get more power is to open up the muffler allowing better flow. I would not mess around with the timing too much or lean it out too much either, saw produces pretty good power for an older saw as is. I have found that with my Macs---about 50 now-- the larger the engine the more heat buildup there is running them at high speed & they tend to overheat easily..Dawgs are available time to time on Ebay....along with lots of other parts....Enjoy--Bill Irvine

I was watching that one, myself. It should be a good cutter, plenty of power. You won't have to get any more power out of it,it should have enough already.Like Bill said, pull the muffler screens, wear a good set of ear plugs, and eat your Wheaties,it's heavy. :)
