Any one of you amazingly knowledgeable fellas know if a drive sprocket for any modern saw will fit a MAC super 250. I'd like to get to a rim drive if possible. I have machining capability if some mods are needed.

Also, I have the 600100 with ser# beginning with 12-. Is the only difference between this super 250 and the "other" super 250 the 87cc vs 80cc size? Do any of the drive parts cross-over?

thanks guys

You can order one from any Oregon dealer. Somestimes it takes a while but it is worth the wait. Tilton/Total also has them. The rim/drum combo that I last purchased was around $16.00. All the 250 series saw drive parts will inter-change. Good luck, they are a fun saw in good working order.

Oregon's website doesn't show anything in their "selector" for my saw. Do I have to call a dealer and have them cross the part number? Do you have a knowledgeable dealer you like?

There is a weasel trying to sell me a new one for $35. Of course he says Oregon doesn't make 'em anymore.

thx again
