Maintenance question

What is the best way to clean the air filters on my 346's and 350's? Can I soak them in soap and water? Or will this damage them? Every time I am done with my saws, I take a little brush and brush them out, but I would like to clean them real good every now and then. Thanks..

Yeah I saw that post yesterday, but there are so many different filters for different saws, especially when you get into the "older" saws like the ones you referred to on that post. I wanted to make sure I didnt ruin my filters.
