What ever happened to Manual bar oilers on saws? Is it just me or when making long cuts it was nice to give the plunger a couple of "squirts just for good measure".
I don't think a single saw has them any more. Also need to think about the fact that those extra splurges of oil deplete the tank; I s the guy going to remember that he may empty the oil tank before the gas tank?
I still like manual oilers though. I mainly experienced them on the older Echos.
There still available on the new larger Echos.My thought is they have been removed by most companys to reduce production cost.
If a saw is oiling properly it's really not needed.The manual oiler on the Echo 550EVL(miss that saw)I owned was really a good feature,a few squirts in the heavy load of a cut maintained rpm and made cuts a little faster.
