Thanks Vinny.
I looks like about 90% are 10 series and 800's plus 850's parts and saws. I think about four 610's, two 2-10's and some 700 parts and saws.
Wow Clint thats a Motherload of McCulloch's you hit the jackpot. Was that a saw shop or someones personal collection? Do they have any Pioneer saws?

All Mac's. From an 87-year-old retired Logger. He never threw away nothing. Dozens of busted 800 series AV mounts in one small box

Keep those mounts. Add a block of whatever rubber suits your fancy and some screws n nuts and booyaa

I was wondering about that Jethro. The old AV Macs are very new to me, so I have a lot to learn about them.
Thanks.
Boy I'm super glad a saw buff like you got a chance to rescue a slice of American muscle saws ,and not the scrap man.
It's sort of a rare responsibility to have but you sound like the right man for the burden Clint ,CONGRATULATIONS.

Yes, saving mac history and I'm feeling the pressure.
All my other projects will take a break, while I'm going through the pile to see what I do have.
It took 30 minutes just to load my truck. I filmed it.

McCulloch Heaven or Hell?
I came home with the pickup bed and backseat full of nothing but Mac saws and parts, new and old.
My frame of mind right now is, am I supposed to be happy or sad.
The vid is only 21 seconds long but says a lot.

That, looks to me, like a great reason to build a bigger shop. But, of course, all in the name of organization and storage space, naturally. 😉

Are you telepathic Big Mike?
I'm going to call a metal building installer today, after I check him out through a couple of friends.
Space has gotten to be a big problem and my wife Debbie and I have been discussing it to long.
She has been pushing it, so now is the time.

Clint I think I will kidnap you, and head for Alaska. You are a magnet for all things yellow! Pretty amazing luck you have had lately.

It's almost unbelievable Eric.
I called a friend that I went to school with 50 years ago. He has been a logger since he could pick up a saw.
I asked him where I could find Old Mac's. He said go to a sawmill that is only 25 minutes from me and ask.
I did and was told to go see Uncle Sam, (Haha) Sam was only three houses away. Sam is 87 and has been a logger all his life.
That's where I got the 850 and two 800's a week ago. Then I went back yesterday and made an offer on everything but three 700's that Sam wanted to keep.
Now the chore of unloading and separating the mountain of yellow and black starts today.

This was a few years ago, when my wife came out to the garage the next morning she declared that I was officially insane. Then a few more years (and more madness) and I built the new building...

If anyone gets a complaint from their better half, just start showing them these kinds of photos.
