Metal tag says:
Mod: 600002 U
SERIAL: 11-55855
I have 4 IPL's, one of the four shows the correct starter and the same oiler/gasket setup it's for 11-60001 according to it's header. That IPL is worthless as far as the spark plug goes. It lists three different plugs by MAC # only but doesn't say which one goes with what unless the line that says: 63097 (not A or E) is somehow related to the "U" in the model number?
Tracked over to Home which is ordertree via chainsawr.com found IPL for 600002 U shows plug 63097 standard, 63432 cooler! Tried to put 63097 in "my cart" says part number invalid...oh well now I just need to cross 63097 to an actual plug number.
Thanks Brian, that's what I suspected. Spose I better go buy it........Not that I wasn't going to anyways:msp_wink:. It is yellow afterall. - Sam

hey rwoods, where in TN are you located? I tried to PM you but you're full.
Took a couple of the saws out yesterday for a little excercise.

All right guys, first person that gives up the secret to stuffing 10# of poop in a 5# box wins a prize.
Specifically, the 10# of poop is the fuel pickup tampon that goes in the 5# tank on a Power Mac 6. I got the old one out, but sure aren't having any luck getting the new one in. There's gotta be a secret to it - I hope!
Yes, Jeff, that means your box got here. Thanks for the parts, and you'll have mail headed your way today. The muffler (and carb) are off a later series than mine, but the muff will work just fine, and the choke knob is on the carb. (Carb is an MDC1 on mine, the one you gave me is an MDC8, might work if my carb is toast, it doesn't look like there's much difference between em).
Oh yeah, the prize - it's a very artistic looking piece of varnish that came out of the aforementioned tank. Approximately 1" long by 3/8" wide, semi transparent brown. Winner pays only shipping AND handling. (Note that handling charges are measured in 12 fl oz increments, cans preferred but bottles are accepted)
