I've been sawing this pissfir since the mid 1980s.

SP80 vs SP81 & PM850

On ebay there is a listing for an NOS SP80 cylinder and a listing for an NOS PM850 cylinder. Both have several pictures and you can see that both the intake ports and the exhaust ports are different between the models. Ron

I've bought cylinders from that seller and he has gone above and beyond the standard for customer service.

NOS Mac parts

Guys,

I have just waded into Mac country with my first purchase. I met a guy who is in the small engine repair business earlier this year and he used to have a shop but works from home now. He has quite a few old Poulan parts. I get lists from him when he finds stuff and offer them to the good men over on the Poulan thread and pick them up and ship to them.
The price I pay is what they get them for and they pay for shipping.
Anyway, I mentioned today I had bought a 380 and he pulled out a few Mac parts.
If you are interested I definitely will not be out there again until the end of January or so or when I have a reason to go out there.

If anyone wants these they are first come first served. Just PM me.

PN 90357 $24.00 .404 sprocket kit with washer, 8 pin rim and drum, still in the blister card. I think there's a bearing in there as well but don't know for sure. It's for the big saws. From memory (it's bad) squinting at the card, I-70 series, S250, 300, 380, 440. 790. 795, 797, SP125, CP125 and I'm sure some others I've missed.

PN 63935 $10.00 Moulded fuel line with the filter. It looks similar to the one in my 380 but I don't know which models it fits.

PN 85557 $4.00 This looks like an oil filter to me. Black plastic tube with fine screen in the middle, about 1-1/2 to 2' long.

Mark

Hi Mark,

What do you think about those two Titans on your tailgate?

I have one that I have yet to put back together, but I hear that they are a pretty good saw for a middle weight.

I've put those parts on my 1-42 and all goes well. I really need to do a complete carb rebuild, I cleaned mine and found a new pump diaphragm only, but it's running. I guess rings are available for these old guys, as the comp is only about 110-115psi.

Hope all is well with you

Joey or Ron can you please post the links to the auctions so I can see how they differ from my cylinders?

Sorry bud, I just searched using my laptop and could not find it. I can find it using my iPhone with the eBay app. It comes up under completed listings. I don't know what's wrong. The title says, "vintage chainsaw mcculloch sp80 sp 80 nos block crankcase cylinder p/n 87296"
