Started mine up last evening just to make sure it ran - only took a couple of pulls. I'll probably bring it next time I cut.

The ball is above the spring and the cap comes apart to be sure, 5 pieces in total.

I wish mine had come with the chain brake arm but mine is a different style than that and has been hard to track down.

Yes, all saws should be used at time to time to keep them up and running and remember why you still have em...

Mine has an regular break arm, flag style, don't like the big one the 610 has.
