I'm around, but I've been busy. Spent five days skiing, flew out to Shigo, back for school (3 credits in 14 days), working on my research (ginkgo propagation), catering to the gf (wife as Matt says), started a new business, became an SSA pres, kept up with student govt, revived my computer, supposed to be working for pops (computer networking is fun to me), among other things.
When I was spending hours a night here, I was missing out on things, notably sleep. Hopefully things settle down around here in the next 60 years so I can get back to this site like that.

Not that far away really!
Hey Ken.
I been busy "planting " a church in Devonport and a branch of Treemenders .Pastors with small congregations still have to eat and keep fit.
Anyway I LOVE TREE Climbing
Running the two is hectic and I have little time to "surf" the net.Still I did notice that Grahame is blowing up trees on that other "site with a buzz"
Bless all the Brothers out there. stay safe.
And If you are in Devonport on any Sunday you can come to a meeting.

Welcome back all, Kevin sorry i missed ya; but actually got the thread started trying to get others to mention other MIA's for whatever reason, for knew i could not remember all the great sharers that wee have had over the past year! i kinda even accidentally dropped a line to a few of the more estranged or just strange! Seemed like that time of year that all around me here did the same type of thing.
That Search works real good. Just had the pic, it is from a thread on rope winches and possibly using one for climber lift (hence it's 'Scotty' of 'beam me up' fame monicker){http://www.arboristsite.com//showthread.php?s=&threadid=5100}. Just this pic that kept popping up no matter what got lost, and always intrigued me. Hence, me in a'nutha sarcastic throe inquiring about "Graeme and Scotty"!! Thought someone else might remember and catch me, the pic and humorous name sticking with them too.
Here's to a New Year here with more numbers, depth and understanding; bound with pleasant comradre and humor.:blob4:

Has anyone seen or heard from Tim Gardner? He never replied to or even saw a PM I sent him back in December before I went to NC and he hasn't posted here in ages. Seems like he about quit posting after his friend was killed by a falling tree and I'm wondering if he is even climbing any more.

Might be a typo (who woulda thunk it?
) but the last date Tim posted was 12/15/02, not 1/15. He's gone stretches without posting before, but I haven't even seen him online and everyone knows I'm here practically all the time except when working or sleeping.
