I try to go with Sierra Trading Post too but with me being as medium as they come they often don't have my size. They seem to have more in unusual sizes.

I wear mine for just going out until my work boots wear out then replace my work boots with my going out boots. If that makes any sense.

i've always been a vasque man. My foot is wide so the vasque boot seems to give me plenty of room. The Wasatch is one of the most comfortable i've had. No break in time needed. I tried Asolo and it crushed my foot. I think these are going to be my next pair. They are the same thing as the wasatch but now they are full leather. Vasque boots are made in europe but the leather is from US.

Nice boots Mike. I know what u mean about the size availablity at STP. I prolly woulda got a diff color of the same boot I bought OR the Asolo fugitive but they didn't have my size. Not to imply that I am somehow "settling" with the boots I bought cuz I am really happy with them. When I saw that it said they tend to run small so go a 1/2 size bigger , I spotted mine in a 13 n snatchedem up. I am looking forward to climbing in them..as soon as some of this snow goes away n its not to muddy..lol. Having a pair for going out and then using them for work later makes perfect sense to me Mike.

I just stuck my boot in my mouth! I looked at the label on the boot and its made in china. WTF! I always thought they were made in the US and then europe started making them. Well I guess I will be trying a new boot. Sucks because I really like these boots. Can't get anything good from the US anymore..

MMannn that kinda sucks. Those little red commies r sneaky!! " Made in china" is everywhere!..its not even possible to avoid buying china goods completely...I just think we should all try alittle harder. I will say that just because somthing is made in china doesnt mean its a POS.That was never meant to be my point. some years ago I bought a pair of Rockies for workn in cold weather. At the time and many years to come I just assumed they were made in Nelsonville, Ohio.When I got those boots out this winter I actually LOOKED at where they were made...china...SON OF A BBBBBBB!!!!! I did some check and found out that little factory in Nelsonville has been closed for a long time. Damn shame. Ooo ya..anyway...those rockies are some darn good boots!! Very warm and still water proof! Good boots for sure..I just dont like who made em.
