Cool, I have always wanted to run one of them big macs.

I just got in the house, I have been getting stuff ready out side since about 8am. I think I am getting close. We have enough wood to cut. I am going to grab a bite to eat then its back out to the shop to sharpen some saws and do more prep work.

More than 50% chance I can make Saturday. We were supposed to be done at the current job site last Friday, but at least 2-3 days have been added to the work we are doing in St. Cloud. Pretty sure they won't send us out of state for the last 2 days of the week. Not saying they won't, but it wouldn't make sense. Dang, that means they probably will!:msp_confused:

Anyway, I now kinda sorta definitely maybe will be there for the day on Saturday. That help?

Sure do look forward to putting faces with some of these names!
Ted

And no, my avatar has decided not to show up. Something about bacon and pie not working for her figure.

with my brother possible dad??

You're from Stearns county huh? :p j/k!

Yesterday, I did this:

So next saturday I'll be in Harris. :)

Its kind of early but as of right now the weather channel says hi of 67 low of 43. That sounds very nice. I got the logs set up so we should be cutting in the shade all day.

I don't have anything stihl.

I carried her out of the bush head down with her hips over my shoulder, so she was draining for about 70 yards before getting laid on the wheeler. Funny thing happened when I first lifted her up - she splattered my wife and kids faces with blood. :) I just wanted to show kiddo how to pick up and follow a blood trail (he's 10). Getting them dirty was pure bonus.

In case anyone missed it we are going to be doing a saw rebuild at the GTG. Grande Dog, a member here that works for Baileys, donated a very nice box of door prizes for me to give away at the GTG. He also donated a replacement motor for a 029/039 clamshell saw. It is complete with upper and lower halfs of the engine and has a new crank installed, ready to install. A member by the name of MNfarmer generously donated a 029 to the cause. Today I dissasembled the saw so I could get it spotless clean for the build. I talked with Tree Monkey and he agreed to do the rebuild, (thank you Tree Monkey.) The saw is missing a few parts and it needs a few things replaced. Here is a list of the parts it needs. Fuel line and filter, air filter and cover, sprocket and needle bearing, impulse hose, clutch, coil, bucking spike, bar nuts, bar and chain, and the screw with bushing that hold the left side of the chain brake handle to the saw. Tree monkey said he has several of the parts but I am asking if anyone else has any of the others that they would donate. I though that when we are done we can donate the saw to Denny at the innerfaith caregivers. He can use it if he likes or sell it and put the money into the charity. Or we could sell it for him. Grande Dog wanted us to time the overhaul, he said he was going to donate more of these engines for other gtg's and we could have a overhaul competition. I will post up some befroe and after clean up pics of the saw here shortly.
