below average for snowfall here at this point, only a foot or so of snow in the woodlot...this time last year I was dropping trees back there and they'd disappear with a "poof". Around -10F here last weekend; had a fire goin' in the woodstove in the living room (typically do that when it's around zero or colder) and love to see inside at 75F when there's a minus sign on the outdoor thermometer.

was in the yoop over Christmas and the kids and I snowshoed out to deer camp to check the roof, only had to shovel off about 3-1/2'; 74" came down in 7 days, and that was before Thanksgiving (unusual even for that area). Seein' how you guys say "it didn't happen without pics", below are a couple from last Feb; to get some perspective, that's a 5 foot shovel in the first pic; and couldn't resist throwin' in a pic of the butterfly room and eagle's nest. Stay safe with the ice and snow everyone.

That would be the ideal flat land luge run. Grab a crazy carpet and some pints and have fun with it. I love everything about winter, best season of all, no bugs!

Sick Canadian bastage !!!!:D Wait a min! What am I saying I am in Ontario too!
