Whats going on everybody! First time posting a thread. Purchased a mitts & merrill brush chipper earlier this week for 3300. Completely rebuild with ten hours on the new engine. It is in awesome condition. Could anybody tell me what year they made them? or if I got hosed by paying way to much for it? or anybody have a link to some specs for it. Thanks a lot! Anything will help. First chipper. Thanks

I have a 1974 with a straight v6 runs strong for me it was a hand me down from my uncle who's an arborist all his life

A friend of mine has a '72 and I have used it when my vermeer was down a few times I like it, the staggered knives let it pull stuff in slower so it will take a longer branch before it chokes down, my 1600 is too fast just rips it out of your hand but the 1600 will take a wider fork, I think he paid 2800 about 10 years ago so with rebuilt motor you did alright I see the chunk and ducks go from 1500-5000 down here, The M&M is simple to maintain too,

my first chipper was an M+M, still kickin myself in the ass for selling that thing. Perfect light weight chipper to pull behind a bucket truck, great for trim work.
