I drive 10 miles North to buy non-oxygenated 92. I think the
alcohol works as a solvent and wipes the oil film off of the
cylinder wall.

Fishing's great! Lake Vanderkechove, NW Manitoba, up around
the 57th parallel. Lots of walleyes. Me and my Pop.

Hi Scott, here is a picture of a 20# plus Lake Char caught in 1980 at Cunningham Lake B.C. Cant remember who the pilot was though.
John

Gypo, nice fish. I caught many Char and Grayling on a hunitng trip I took to the area around the ANWR in Alaska. char are a very good eating fish.

Scott, Alky doent have solvency charachteristics that are that much differant than regular gas so"washing" oil off of the cylinder walls isnt a issue. Besides once a saw is up to operating temp and with a crank flalling around at 13k rpm fuel isnt in liquid form anyhow.

My first visit to Canada was to Rice Lake near Peterborough
when I was a kid. Up until then I did not know that mosquitoes
could become large enough to eat for supper.

John, nice Laker, nicer Rainbow, I'm supposed to give the Lakers
a shot one last time next weekend. My MNDNR Forester buddy
says he has a can't miss lake that I've never fished. Below is a
Walleye my Grandmother caught in 1988 at age 74, she was
32-3/4" long and just a touch over 15lbs. The fish was caught
through the ice, early January, on a Swedish pimple and a shiner.
We never registered the fish, but we think it is the largest 'eye
through the ice in MN. My Grandfather was ready to carve her up,
we stopped him, he said, "If I don't eat this fish now, I'll be eating
it the rest of my life". When she came through the ice, she
measured out to the end of the perch she is eternally chasing.
They always shrink like crazy when you have them mounted.

I run mixed octane, 25% corn, Coleman fuel in my DG357, and the
d@mn thing just runs stronger with every tank. Very impressive
Dennis, many thanks.
