Haven't forgotten..............just finished my first sharpening on 10 bands.
Initial impressions on the MK Morse Quicksilver bands.....very durable, my helper managed to cut a log post clean through and not even brake a band. Standard 7/8" and 10degree profile. The band welds are consistant but as per to not work with the feed mech on my Norwood grinder. Tooth set upon delivery was pretty bad due to shipping and the post man playing football with the boxes. Set ranged from 19-27deg, and a few bands were undamaged and every tooth was at 21-23 so near ideal.
I have reset all 10 bands to to 22 degrees before sharpening, and hope to notice an improvement once back on the mill.
Hope to get on my second sharpening by next weekend.
