There should be at least a 1/2 dozen guys off of the AS that will be there and maybe quite a few more if you were going to show up.
What date are we looking at here? I might be interested.

Half-way would be Victoria or Vancouver. Why don't you come up here in the summer with your wife and we can do some halibut and salmon fishing, my treat. Bring your best 385, winner takes the other guys saw. Have you ever been to Vancouver Island?
never been to the island. for that matter never been to canada. As for racing saw for saw I could nto do that as I told you I do not build husqy's for the most part. I only have a few out in faller's hands. In fact I would most likely bring up one of my customers saws to race with. I still think though that Sequim would be a good place to meet up at though. Good show and like I said there should be quite a few guys from AS there.

i would love to see one of Simon's saws run. i will be at sequim this year again. i do hope more AS members drop by. im willing to buy every AS member over 21 a beer that does come to the show :)

Simon...Remember last year when you were going to ship two of your saws to Northern California? (Does anybody remember those posts?) You wouldn't give us the name of the recipients but by now they must be well known to somebody. Whatever happened to those saws? If you remember I offered the recipients a little GTG at my place just to see the saws and watch them run. Never heard a word from anybody...especially you. Seems a shame to let a chance to vindicate yourself just slip away like that.

You might be right but I wanted to give the guy every opportunity to explain. It sure got quiet on his end when I brought that up,though. If those saws were for real they're probably pretty well broke in by now. My offer still holds...bring 'em out to my place. I'll supply lunch and logs and we can see how they run.
Dennis..ya think I ought to keep any week-ends free for this or just play it by ear?:)

I'll be there. It's five minutes from my house! Heck, we can all go back to my place afterword and race all we want to. I've got more than enough wood to work with and plenty of room. (I don't have a proper racing stand for the wood though, so Dean if you can bring one...)

I put forth the invite here and now. Anyone who wants to come to Sequim and play with saws in my yard is welcome to.

Lemme know...

My feelings are almost hurt.

I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings. And I'm not taking sides. I was just adding to Rex's comment that there's talk but as of yet, no proof. I think everyone here would gladly shut up and get off your back, should we see one of your saws perform as well as you say they do. That's all.

I wouldn't hold my breath!....boboak.....but instead of playing it buy ear, I'd consider playing with yourself, cause your gonna be sitting there by yourself for a while. Hahahaha!

Ha! Ya know, I was thinking about extending you a personal invite, but I knew I'd get that kind of response! I still haven't made it over to your side of the water yet. My parents are likely coming to visit next month, so I'll be over picking them up at the airport. Maybe then....

There is quite a bit of history. I wouldn't call him an underdog though.
I'm beginning to gather that.:monkey:

Eric's saw is at the post office in Greenwich Ohio right now. He was notified yesterday but arrived home too late to pick it up. Cheers.
