Here is my Hillbilly try. A Fella told me once a story about a couple of native american Fellas who had a mill by the names of Quick to Catch Beaver and Strong Right Hand. He did not mention a year but said it was a long time ago. They used a beaver to do the cutting. He said they figured out if one fellows holds a beaver by the head and steers and feeds the other guy can run the back end. Legend has it the faster you want to go the harder you squeeze the beavers balls. Once they mastered the beaver saw word got around and everyone for miles around would bring their wood to the Fella's with the beaver. Rumors suggest that this mill is still in opperation, I'm not sure of the location but the Fella told me once that in his travels he came across a line of Fellas with wood waiting for some beavers to work it down. He could not remember where it was though.
