Well, due to my meticulous organizational skills, I couldn't find the camera till after the trailer was trashed. Here's the addition going. The Doctor Suess stairway was a hazard in its self!

It only took 4 hours and this guy's kid ran it for a while. Tomorrow cleanup and I'll have him rip out that satellite dish. We're thinking that I may be wise to build a house there. He verified what I worried about, that the road would have to be widened. It is on a pretty steep sidehill and is fairly stable right now. I'd have to waste several cedars to cut the road wider, so I'll be checking out kit houses.
I went woodcutting this afternoon. My secret spot had been found and cleaned out. I went to a secondary spot and the Barbie saw cut more than the pickup could hold. Left 4 24" diameter rounds behind. Maybe they'll still be there tomorrow? Woodcutting is cutthroat here. Now it is hot tub time...what a day!:)

Hmmmm, I shouldn't have an alcoholic beverage and try to post a picture. I added a click on so that should bring it up. On the news they are saying that Seattle's "Street of Dreams" model houses just went up in flames due to the Earth Liberation Front. Where were they when I needed them? It might have saved me some money!:)

Yeah, arsonists are sooo unreliable, though. :)

Looks like a nice piece of property. I wanted to buy a house in WA a long time ago, actually still do.

Don't move here. You'll get cranky because it rains all the time. I've been doctoring up my pictures with sunny backgrounds taken from pictures of Arizona. We're actually always working in fog and drizzle, unless it is raining.
Then we work in the rain.

Thing is, I like the weather there. I have no real need for sunshine. I couldn't live in Arizona or anywhere hot and dry. Woods and mountains are all I need. Besides, I've been there enough to know that you all just push the "rain and clouds depression" story to keep Californians out.

A story? I think not. You should have been here in January. Very cranky people. I think all the flights to Hawaii were booked. I actually thought about leaving for somewhere sunny. It seemed like we had not had a sunny day since September. We were walking around in slush and there was lots of grumbling amongst total strangers. Today we started out with drizzle, went to snow, back to drizzle and now some heavy duty rain with a bit of wind. The ground got muddy so we stopped work about 2PM. The demolition is pretty much complete.

You sure you don't want to change your mind?

Well, several people are trying to talk me into plumbing the shop building and living in it. That shop building makes guys drool and they immediately start telling me, "You should...". Granted, it is a nice storage space but needs some windows, heat and a few less mice.
