That's what I wear in timber, and what I've got on in that pic I posted earlier. I love those. They work really well as far as staying out of the way, and being comfortable.

I used to wear Carhart or Madsen's double front pants and outside chaps but the heat and lack of manuverabilty (sp) was beginning to be a pain. So last season I bought five pair of Dickies double knees (they look like slacks) put suspender buttons on them and I must say the comfort level is awesome and they are sooo much cooler. Plus they are only $20 a pair at Welfare-Mart, oops... I mean Wal-Mart.

You got me beat there. I wear Filson brush pants. Either in Tin or Shelter Cloth depending on weather and time of year.

Chainsaw Bibs?

Has anyone here used the Stihl chainsaw bibs or some similar? Been curious about the bibs as I like my Liberty's real well - they just don't hold up to saw chain...

Pardon me,but a Tampon might be better suited for emergency use in case a hunter mistakes you for a deer. There is a big difference between a "Kotex" and a "Tampon." :dizzy: You will never forget the difference if heaven forbid you bring the wrong box home. You will find yourself making another trip back to the store.:bang:

Well, PARDON ME  Who the H knew :censored: ....This could be the start of another Stihl vs Husky run
BTW: What is the difference ? Curious minds want to know

Well, let's talk about fixing tires Butch. There are two methods of repair. One type goes up flush against the surface and is called a patch. The second type is inserted into the hole in the casing and is called a plug. Both serve the same purpose by stopping leakage. Owner's generally prefer one method over the other and can get quite upset if the wrong method is applied.

Yes. It is better to appear concerned about such matters showing that you truly care than it is to blindly assume. Would you want that special someone to give you a Husky if you happened to be a devout Stihl man? The experiences of life are the greatest teacher. One can read volumes of knowledge but it is only after that knowledge is applied in life's daily routine will one be truly educated and enlightened.;)

:D If nothing else they'd make a nice, snug, hardhat liner ta keep your head warm on them really cold days, hey, they even come with cut-outs for your ear-muffs...............now there's an idea, we'll call them 'Loggies' :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

I really hate to put this back on topic, but my wife bought me a pair of the summer weight Husqvarna bibs and I really like them. I don't think I could handle the winter weight anytime of the year here in Missouri
The only thing I don't like is that they don't unzip high enough to take them off without taking my boots off,
