No sorry, not knocking your English, not at all. Just tying to figure out what your trying to do here. You keep harping on the 191 displacement and of course thought that would mean increased performance so I still have a hard time figuring out your points.

I hope you enjoy your 191T. To each there own.

You may insist on putting words in my mouth and ignore stuff said. Want a point? Here's one - mine! Yes - my point that I shall bring you here, and my oh my - it's an innocent question!! Here:
- Why would a company like STIHL would EVER take their 35cc top handle CLIMBING saw, and squeeze a 46.5cc engine inside - in the same wrapping?? I DON'T GET IT! Got that?

Have a proven answer from a credible source? I guess that my ibability to track a highly-ranked STIHL ex-employee from back then - probably puts a finger on my severe retardation. Pardon my inferior brain and bad genes.. I'm so flawed so I was asked to be on the R&D for the GS461.. guess we found an ultimate proof that STIHL are nuts - they put ******* like me on R&D! LOL :) OH RIGHT! - That's why s**t like 019T/190T and to top it all - the 191T - happened! Ha haaaaa.....

Is anything interchangeable between the 191t and the 192t? I have a 191t that needs the throttle cable and trigger, and a friend of mine offered me his 192t with a scored piston.

Unfortunately not..

Keep searching the web for good used parts, like the throttle cable, and if the cylinder of the other saw isn't as bad as the piston - and in condition to be honed - MAYBe.. new cylinders aren't as common as the MS170/180 etc'.. so maybe u'll have to check/search often for engine rebuild.

Bottom line- 192 =/= 191

Totally different! :)

Good luck!

Well you just need to experience a mm'd 192T...but you never will..

Mine is supposedly also lightly woods ported..
(can't say for sure as I bought it used..but from a Stihl dealer who knew full well the history of the saw)

It really is my everyday yard saw..(leaving the 200T on the shelf)

It really runs very close to the 200T..at least for as long as it lasts..

{again NO details on porting (if true) and who did it...but it's a blast to run..!!}
:cheers:

If it runs as well as your 200t there's something wrong with your 200t. Maybe out of tune. Because there is no way a 191 is hanging with a 200. Unless ported by number with a timing advance.
