I know on another site I frequent that deals with bigger equipment members that have noticed scams on eBay have thrown huge overbids on the "non-items" to get them flagged and eBay shuts down the auction.

yep. did it myself when i couldn't reach a member bidding on a rip-off Taylor guitar auction.
i had won the guitar and had it in my possession when the auction was re-listed word for word/pic for pic by someone else...
tried to reach the bidder, gave up and bid five hundred grand at the last minute.
this auction "disappeared". no word from ebay, nothing.

I've tried to attach some pics of my Redmax G455AVS, that looks just like that fake ms361, only in a solid red color. I'd bet money that that saw is a Redmax. I know that some if not all Redmax saws use the same bar mount as Dolmar. Look at the similarity in the air filter cover, and the fuel and oil cap locations, as well as the anti-vib bushing above the fuel cap (located in front of the rear handle, just to the rear of the starter coard)

Redmax used this same body style in its G455AVS, G5000AVS, and probably many others.

My money is on Redmax

Dang Urbanlogger,

A little paint and some stickers and you can make a killing with that thing on ebay.uk :buttkick:

Right, then I'd be an idiot too! The one major difference I noticed is that my saw has a squareish cover over the starter/flywheel, and that totally awesome MS361 has a round cover, but I know that Redmax has made slight changes to their saws body style over the years and the saw pics I posted are of a New Old Stock 10 year old saw (if that makes sense). The G455AVS I have is about a $375ish saw (new) I know the next Model up is around $400-$420. A MS361 brings more, but not enough for me to go through the trouble if painting, and deceiving someone on ebay!
