OK sickos, you're *not* going to see a picture of a skunk cut in half.

I got a job going where I'm clearing a lot behind a local car wash. Reason being: the township has decided that in order to get the skunk population down, businesses need to clear trees and underbrush and stuff off their property where they can.

So I'm making money because of skunks. Good money job too, my only expense is gas, got a buddy taking all the firewood out.

Skunk money...ever hear of that?

By the way, I did cut some animal thing in half I think. There was blood and fur, I think like the entire thing got pulled into the chain at whatever speed the chain goes so I couldn't ID the body.

Most likely a grey squirrel.

Anyway, you can forward this to the township board...

"You guys are a bunch of royal idiots to think removing trees and underbrush are going to lower the skunk densities or keep them from an area. Most skunks live in holes, debris piles, dens, culverts, under sheds, abandoned vehicles and houses. Skunks are omnivorous eating both meat and plants usually scouring for food under nocturnal conditions.(that's night-time for you brainiacs) In order to keep them away, you have to make the area undesirable for them; which does NOT include removing trees and brush. It means to remove the #1 reason why they are around... FOOD! Keep your pet's food dishes inside the house as the skunks will eat it too. Any garbage, trash or discarded dinner foods stock piled to create mulch are a delicacy for skunks. If trees are bearing fruit, like apples and plums, then pick up the fruit as it falls from the trees. Shame on you clowns from the township board who brought up the idea removing trees and underbrush is the solution to this problem."
