Why would they go and bring back old models when they have all these new and improved xx1's?

I have got to wonder if it is because they have the parts left over and just want to make a little more money or is it because of something like the public wants them and the 441s arent so hot?What say you guys on the best power to weight ratio still for use with 20 inch bar I think the 440 is the 441 better power to weight?

Not sure of issues other than not selling.I was also told the 261is not flying off the shelves.

This needs to be researched
i am looking into buying a new saw and i want to get the correct one .I cant see nothing wrong with the ms 440 I run now.So if it works leave it alone I say.

I would be a little surprised if the Germans did not know exactly how long the current run was going to be. That would be a very German thing to know. What would surprise me more is if the 18 months was reliable information itself. Rumor is rumor.

we cant keep them in the store here. i do think the 440 has a well deserved reputation. the 441 will grow on people sooner or later,it definately seems to be a love it or hate it saw.they may stay in production in other countries, but the 440,460,660 saws will disappear from the the states sooner rather than later. we have our wonderful epa regs to than for that.
