My 655 score

Sniped this 655 off the bay

I knew it was a 655 of some variety as it has the manual oiler, when it got here there were some surprises

The mud daubers had built a nest in the muffler and was carboned up

but the view through the exhaust port was a bonus!!!!!

It had a good air filter, ignition, tygon fuel lines, but the governor valve was defective so it was plugged off, the air filter cover had the tab towards the handle broken off so I had to make an alternative repair

all cleaned up

but when I went to start it I found that the lower handle had a crack that broke clean through when I ground started it, I tried to repair it with JB weld and some reinforcement but it didnt hold

Thanks to Ed(arrowhead) for a replacement:msp_thumbup: that even matches the upper handle

good thing I had some antivibe elements around, 5 out of 6 were bad

Reassembled and ready to go!!

Ran it and man does this thing have some GO!!!, I will post a video as soon as my right arm works a little better, not sure if the saw got me or chuckin the firewood but it isn't workin to well @ the moment!!

BTW, I could really use the button for the manual oiler, pointed tip in the pump shaft is hard in the thumb!!

The 655 is probably my favorite saw. You'll love it. Your P/C looks great.

Ah, I left the best for last, if you look @ the pics through the exhaust port you can see the 3rd port and the pic of the piston rings you can see the tombstone cut in the piston, its a 655BP!!!!
