Lucky you, I have to start out with the oil filler cap.

I was just being fun. We can't afford another saw right now. I have put a pile of money into a logging job and haven't even gotten 1 load of logs staged yet. They have been felled, but I had a creek removal project that took priority this past Saturday. This week I'm hoping to have at least 1/2 a truckload bucked and staged for pickup. I only have Tuesday of this week to work on skidding.

You can always replace the powerhead on your favorite bar and chain.

:ices_rofl: You sound like a logger already. Welcome to the wonderful world of trying to get out enough wood to pay the bills. I'm laughing with you...really I am.

Sometimes I forget that a lot of you guys earn your living with a saw. I'm a mechanic 40 hrs. a week, my saws are fun stuff for me. Good luck to you.

You know, when I first joined this site, I thought about how glamorous logging sounded. Well dadburn it, it's fairly hard work. I hate wearing gloves, but my hands are starting to get pretty torn up, my back hurts by the end of the day, and I still have two days of skidding for an $800.00 load of logs.

Now the good parts: So, far I really enjoy it, I'm learning to hand file out of convenience, and wedging a backlean to fall in a 10' opening 90' away is pretty cool.

I am a plumber but have taken on this job cause I wanted to. When I quit enjoying it, I'm going to turn it over to the real loggers and try to sell my loader. I had other stuff for the loader before I ever considered doing the job myself. Was nice to have it already and helped make up my mind to give this a try.

Hey Ultra, Notice how it says Buy the Best Chainsaw ?
Bet you thought it would be a Stihl.. BahrHhahahahahahahah

Love it. Yep "The Best" as advertised. ;)

So you've given up on Jonsered then? That was a good choice. :hmm3grin2orange:
