i had a big sycamore removal on tuesday and got to run 2 tanks of fuel through my dozerized 395xp.

WOW what a beast that saw is. my 066 ran off behind the garage to cry when i fired that thing up. this is my first modified saw and i'd venture to say there will be more in the future.

How much improvement?

I got me one of them 395s a couple of years ago; I'm not all that impressed with it stock, and my home-made muffler improvements only helped a little bit.

"How much improvement"

i guess that's tough to answer without actual dyno results. i've run about 3 394's with 32in bars in the past and an 066 with a 32 in bar.

i'm totaly impressed with this saw. i heard some bad things about the 395 compared to the old 394's but i feel this beast would blow away a stock 394.

I just saw where you "RJS" bought a used 044 from 036. Now why would you do that if your 372 will beat an 066?

i would agree with rock about dans saws getting stronger with time..
i got one that i think everyt saw man
east o the mississippi tried at one time or another..[dans demo] she still eats
thru a 20 inch hunk o wood faster than anything i got..im starting to think it mite be as durable as an ole 028 stihl..an thats a pretty good thing to say about any saw..ps rock ,i aint trying to run u fer president or nothing. just seems like we see things about the same..that is if i
got my glasses on..:)
