I have been fighting with a old Husqvarna 50 as My large saw but it died at the end of the last job, Had to cut stumps down with the Stihl 192t again. So today I got the New large Saw, Got a Stihl 441 with the 20" and 25" bars. Next will be a 260 for a large saw for climbing.

P.S. I thru the husky away......

Shew, I would imagine stumping with a 192 would make for a long day...

You'll like the 441. I liked mine when I had it. I had run up to a 36" bar on it when I needed to but it mostly wore a 25" as my 044 does now.

Good choice on the 260 as well. I like using mine instead of the 200 sometimes when I am making larger cuts. It saves the old back some from not having to call for a big saw so soon.

I feel your pain. I stumped with a little MS180 once. My buddy just bought a 441 and says it is buttery smooth. 260 is a great saw. Tradin Post section of AS often has some good 260's for sale from reputable members.

Not a good statement to make "P.S. I thru the husky away" if you want to keep your status on the upside of this forum. Never.... ever throw a saw away unless you throw it to me.........Just pulling your chain..............
:chainsawguy:

The husky was well past its life cycle, I cut around 7-8 hundred tops up with it used it on 20 to 30 tree jobs within the last 2 years. With the brake handle missing and the brake band wore thru, Then the muffler fell off so I put it back on. The oiler quit and the sproket has never been changed. So the last job (just finished),(got paid),(bought stihl). I had a 372 but it cost more to keep up then it was worth. The 50 ran, It just kept falling apart, The head messed up buy the muffler loosening up.

I'm a Stihl Guy anyways

 I need a bottom end for one...

LOL, 50cc vs 35cc, you do the math. On crane work where I am taking large leaders I am not even touching the 200. I'm making my first cuts with the 260 then going to the 044 much later in the operation. Saves on the back.

I use my 346 in the tree and it saves a lot of time and energy when the wood is over 12".:chainsaw:

Sorry for your loss, but.....Seriously - never throw a saw away! There are always folks that need parts, handles, case parts, linkage, etc.

Well now you have a good reason to buy another stihl, a mans saw, and get rid of that husky crap. Oh wait you already did oops. LOL

steve:cheers:
