Small mirror - like the kind used for cosmetics. Lets me inspect the edges on each cutter after I grind it, without leaning over, or putting my face in line with the wheel. It doesn't show up so well in the photo, but the edges are very easy to see.

Also a shot of how I store my wheels and grinder incidentals (wheel gauge, allen wrenches, marker, etc.). Rubbermaid/Tupperware type sandwich container.

I have to use a magnifying glass to see the cutters,

I have one of those spring-arm mounted, lighted magnifiers next to the vise on my workbench, which would be good for this. But you can see from the photo that I prefer to grind outside if I can, like at the picnic table. The magnifier would be one more thing to drag outside.
